Artist's Description
Sports is the third album by American rock band Huey Lewis and the News, released September 15, 1983 on Chrysalis Records (FV41412). The album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart on June 29, 1984 and elevated the group to international fame. Sports reached 7X Platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America and ranked #2 on the Billboard Year End Album Chart for 1984. Five singles, “Heart and Soul”, “I Want a New Drug”, “The Heart of Rock and Roll”, “If This Is It”, and “Walking On a Thin Line” were hits on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts.
The group consists of Huey Lewis - lead vocals, harmonica; Mario Cipollina - bass; Johnny Colla - guitar, saxophone, backing vocals; Bill Gibson - drums, percussion, backing vocals; Chris Hayes - lead guitar, backing vocals; Sean Hopper – keyboards, backing vocals.

As you can see from the various Collections, my areas of interest are broad. I work at letting the subject speak for itself and strive to offer something that gets your attention because it got mine. I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado.
