The Doors is the debut album by the American rock band the Doors. It was produced by Paul A. Rothchild and released on January 4, 1967 by Electra Records. The album produced two singles hits, “Light My Fire” at #1 on the Hot 100 and “Break On Through” at #126 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 1967. The album made it to #2 on the Billboard 200 behind The Beatles' “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” also in 1967. It went on to be Certified 4X Platinum by the RIAA in the US. The Doors is frequently ranked by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. By the early 2000's it was #46 on Colin Larkin's “All Time Top 1000 Albums” and #42 on Tolling Stone's “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The Doors has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame along with the single “Light My Fire”. In 2015 the Library of Congress selected the The Doors for inclusion in the National Registry based on cultural, artistic or historic significance.

Since 2011 I have returned to my roots in still photography, making the transition from film to digital. Thank you so much for your interest in my work. I hope...
