I'm Glad You're With Me Tonight is the eleventh studio album by Neil Diamond, release on Columbia Records in 1977. It includes a solo version of “Don't Bring Me Flowers.” The duet with Barbara Streisand the following year would become a #1 hit. Other notable songs on the album include; “God Only Knows”, “Desiree” and “Free Man in Paris.”
The album was the second Neil Diamond in a row to also be presented as a television special that was broadcast on November 17, 1977 on the NBC network. The special was a thematic based program with interspersed live performances and was nominated for three Emmy Awards. It also featured a pioneering segment with one of the earliest broadcasts of what would become to be known as a “music video” of the song “Morningside.”
As you can see from the various Collections, my areas of interest are broad. I work at letting the subject speak for itself and strive to offer something that gets your attention because it got mine. I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado. Since 2011 I have returned to my roots in still photography, making the transition from film to digital. Thank you so much for your interest in my work. I hope...
