In Search Of The Last Chord is the third album by the Moody Blues, released in July 1968 on the Deram label. In Search of the Last Chord is a concept album around a broad theme of quest and discovery including world exploration ("Dr. Livingstone, I Presume"), music and philosophy through the ages ("House of Four Doors"), lost love ("The Actor"), spiritual development ("Voices In the Sky"), knowledge in a changing world ("Ride My See-Saw"), higher consciousness ("Legend of a Mind"), imagination ("The Best Way to Travel"), and space exploration ("Departure"). The mysterious "lost chord" of the title is revealed to be the mantra "Om". All instrument, approximately 33, were played by the members, Mike Pinder-keyboards, Justin Hayward-guitar, Graeme Edge-percussion, John Lodge-bass, and Ray Thomas-horns. All member had vocal rolls also.
As you can see from the various Collections, my areas of interest are broad. I work at letting the subject speak for itself and strive to offer something that gets your attention because it got mine. I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado.
